Hello! I'm an author, and my debut western novel was recently published by Sunbury Press. It is about cowboy & mining life in 1887 Colorado. It's called "Sipping Whiskey in a Shallow Grave."

It mainly takes place in the high country of Colorado, and some of the story also happens at the XIT in the Texas panhandle.
