Just saw the cover for the first HART book on Piccadilly Pub's site.
I have to admit this has me a bit excited. Even though the series doesn't sound like my usual affair, I'm going to give it a day in court.

John, if you like the other PC series there's no reason why you shouldn't like these too.

I heard it wasn't as violent as the other PC series. It's the OTT material I'm most attracted to.

Not that much different to any of the other PC westerns written by John Harvey. Try to read them in order as there are pairs of books that continue storylines. There was also a short story in the much missed WESTERN MAGAZINE.

Ah, okay. Well, I was going to give it a chance either way, so it's good to hear John Harvey is still delivering.
And yeah, I've read that short story.

I also noticed it's priced at $2.99. Another haggle with the agent?

Well, it took me a few days but I managed to plow through it. It was okay, I suppose. I have to admit that I'm not the biggest fan of John Harvey, though. Still, there was some okay violence and the teaser for book two sounded a bit interesting. I'll keep with the series.

Just realized I hadn't picked up #2 in this series. I'm off to rectify that problem NOW!
