What's the feedback on the Virginian?
I like Steele, but not as much as Edge or Barnaby Gold. Saying that, I do like that the character has a definitive ending. His role in NAME ON THE BULLET is fantastic.
I just picked up HELL'S JUNCTION for my Kindle. I own the series, but can't resist picking these suckers up when they're released.

Steele is almost a copy of Fargo, right down to the white hair and the shotgun. I prefer Fargo. It's my #1 series. It should have it's own entry here.

Fargo predates Steele by several years.

For the record I never read a Western before I wrote one and studiously avoided reading them or watching them on TV or at the cinema when I was writing them. And if memory serves Adam Steele was a rehead before all that killing turned him grey! Also, his weapon of choice was a Colt Hartford rifle and if he ever used a shotgun it was because there was nothing else available.

Jut for the record I did not mean to imply or say that GGG copied Fargo, I was just pointing out similarities. I have written many things that turned out to have already been done by others. You can't write as much as we do and not have that happen. Fargo AND Adam Steele were awesome classic series--and I think Steele ran much longer. Of course, all my comments are made from memory, and I'm well into my geezerhood, so . . .
