I bought the book Crow Bait by Robert J. Randisi a few months ago but before I started reading it I looked up some reviews and found out that it's actually the fourth book in a series. However, its not listed as a series anywhere that I could find. So I hunted down the first one, "The Ghost with Blue Eyes" and I'm almost finished reading it. I can't wait for my copy of Lancaster's Orphans arrives.
Mr. Randisi's writing flows so smoothly that its a pleasure to read.
Anyone else read any of the books starring Lancaster?
Thanks,

I have the first three books, the fourth, if memory serves, was originally released as an ebook only and I couldn't get hold of it over here in the UK, for some reason Leisure didn't release it here. So is Crow Bait now available as a paper book?
I read The Ghost With Blue Eyes when it first came out back in 1999 and found it to be an excellent read. Right up there with the best of Mr. Randisi's work.
I think people don't realize that the books form a series as they don't carry a series logo. The Ghost with Blue Eyes was possibly originally written as a stand-alone novel.

Yes, Crow Bait I picked up in trade paperback.
I really like The Ghost with Blue Eyes. It's so well written that I just realised there hasn't been any kind of violence since the very beginning and I'm almost done the novel.

FYI, Amazon has purchased ALL of my Dorchester Westerns and will be bringing them out again as part of their AmazonEncore line. Of course, that includes all the Lancaster Books.
