What does everyone think of this series?
To be honest, I love it. I know Barnaby Gold is tough to like, but I really enjoy his character.

I read this series after reading a few Edge books and think it is up there with Edge and Steele. But then I am a fan of all Terry's books.
Have read all the Undertaker and Steele books, and up to House on the Range (Edge #45) at the moment. I then have Jubal Cade lined up after Edge... ;D

JUBAL CADE is a decent series. I enjoyed it, too.

Read them and thought the series should have finished after the fourth book. The other two seem like an afterthought. That said they are definately up there with Edge

The fourth book was a good stopping point, I agree. But I'm glad the last two books were squeezed out. Now if only Barnaby Gold would return... yes, I still swear that was him at the end of the last EDGE MEETS STEELE book. He's not dead, I say!

From what I remember Terry once said the series was originally planned to end after book four. The publisher then asked for two more.

Did you guys know that the entire series is being reissued by Cody Wells, in ebook editions? I've already seen the cover for the first book -- it looks very, very good!

Oh boy, so do I. I still maintain that Barnaby Gold is alive...

Larry, I don't believe the books are being published as ebooks yet. I'm sure Ive seen recently that they will be coming out very soon through the same publisher who is putting out EDGE and ADAM STEELE.
I think the first two were published in America way back when.
Here's a title list:
The Undertaker by George G. Gilman 1. Black as Death 2. Destined to Die 3. Funeral by the Sea 4. Three Graves to a Showdown 5. Back from the Dead 6. Death in the Desert
The first three were published in 1981 and the final three in 1982.
They do appear on UK ebay every now and again but the latter books are quite rare.
